Ken has spent more time on the issue of shot quality than any other analyst. In his review of 2010 shot quality he provides a model updated for shot angle and rebounds and presents shot quality information for teams and goaltenders for the 2010 season. Shot angle has been long presumed to be a critical factor in shot quality, and Ken demonstrates that the consideration of shot angle in the model is more useful than the inclusion of shot type.
